The strongest argument for improving the lives of street cats through mass neutering hinges on article 56 of the Animal Protection Act, which states:
Art. 56. (1) In cases of an increased population of stray cats, the provisions of Art. 40 - 47, Art. 51, 52 and Art. 54 shall apply.

During October 2023 - September 2024, we counted all street cats in the Odesos region of Varna, with the help of incredible volunteers.
